Spirillum

Species name: Spirillum sp.

Spirillum, a spiral organism, possesses a flagellum at both ends. Cells swim in a spiral. In activated sludge, the cell length is observed ranging from a few micrometers to tens of micrometers. The majority of the cell length is a few micrometers in the sludge.
