Bacterial microtubules were observed alone or in bundles of up to four. The movie shows a bundle of four parallel bacterial microtubules. Cross-sectional views (2-D tomographic slices) are followed by a 3-D segmentation (the four different bacterial microtubules are shown in four different colors).
