Ceratium is a unicellular protist that belongs to a genus of the phylum Dinoflagellata. There are freshwater and marine Ceratium. Ceratium furca is a marine Ceratium and has one horn in the anterior parts of the cell and two different lengths horns in the posterior parts of the cell.
