An amoeboid cell in maze-like environment was simulated. The amoeboid cell (green) and a signal source (blue) is separated by walls (while and yellow). The signal permeates through yellow wall but the cell cannot pass though it. First, the cell runs along signal gradient but stalls by the walls. Suddenly, the cell finds a detour to the signal because of fluctuation.
