Presentation types are Short Talk, Symposium Talk, Early Research in Biophysics Award Candidate Presentations and Poster. Poster presentations consist of 74 selected papers from short talks and 10 Early Research in Biophysics Award Candidate Presentations.
◇Short Talks: (Ex.) abstract number, 2D1424
The 1st letter stands for the presentation day (1, 2 and 3 for Fri, Sat and Sun), the 2nd letter for the name of session room and the following 4 digits for the starting time of the presentation. NOTE that laptop connecting time is the first 12 min in each session.
◇Symposium Talk: (Ex.) 1SQ03
The 1st letter stands for the presentation day (1 and 2 for Fri and Sat), the next ‘S’ for Symposium Talk, 3rd letter for the name of session room. Last 2 digits represent the order of the talk in each session.
◇Early Research in Biophysics Award Candidate Presentations: (Ex.) 1YE1045
The 1st letter stands for the presentation day (Fri), the 2nd letter Y for ‘Young (Scientists)’ and the ‘E’ for session room E. The last 4 digits stand for the starting time of the talk.
◇Poster Presentations: (Ex.) P53
The 1st letter stands for Poster Presentation and the two digits are poster number.

- The video output connector of presenter’s laptop should be “miniD-sub15pin (female)”. If the connector is not this type (for example, that of Macintosh computer), please bring an adaptor.

- Speaker is advised to bring his/her PowerPoint file in a USB memory.

◇ Instructions for Short Talks
- 1.
- Speaker is requested to tell his/her arrival to the session room attendant.
- 2.
- Speaker will make a 12 min-presentation using his/her own computer. All session rooms will be equipped with a data projector and a lavaliere microphone.
- 3.
- PowerPoint(R) (Microsoft) is supposed to be used as a software.
- 4.
- Each session begins with “Laptop connecting time”, followed by four (or more) consecutive 12min-presentations. Check your laptop connecting time by an abstract number-connecting time diagram. The presentation consists of 9 min talk, 2.5 min questions/answers and 0.5 min for change of speaker.

◇ Instructions for Poster Presentations
- 1.
- All the posters will be mounted at the poster room through the meeting time: 8:30 on Friday morning through 16:00 on Sunday afternoon.
- 2.
- Poster board size is 90 cm in width and 210 cm in height.
- 3.
- Poster presentations on the first day (September 16) of the meeting will be 17:00 - 17:45 and 17:45 - 18:30 for the odd and even number posters.
- 4.
- Additional voluntary presentation is encouraging. Please designate the presentation time at the top right of the poster as is shown in the example below.
