OzBio2010: 26 September - 1 October, 2010, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre

OzBio2010 is a combination of ComBio2010 (incorporating the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Australian Society of Plant Scientists and the Australia and New Zealand Society for Cell and Developmental Biology), the 12th IUBMB Conference (International Union for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) and the 21st FAOBMB Conference (Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists).

We are pleased to advise that the full program for OzBio2010 is available for download/perusal from:

There are three program files online which comprise the "Final Program" (details of all plenary, symposium and colloquium presentations), the "Poster Presentations" and the "Timetable/Program at a Glance".

Registration can still be made at: http://www.asbmb.org.au/ozbio2010/registration.html and abstract submissions for "On Site" poster presentations can still be accepted up to and including Monday, 20 September OR until all "On Site" presentation spaces are filled. [ SPECIAL INTEREST FORUMS ]
Please visit our page detailing the Special Interest Forums which will be held immediately after the lunch break on the last day (Friday, 1 October) of the conference. There are four special interest forums which are open for registration at: http://www.asbmb.org.au/ozbio2010/sif.html (please note that registration is free for OzBio2010 registrants and their OzBio2010 badge is all that is required for admission). If you are not registered for the main meeting, the early registration fee for the Biotechnology, Careers and Educations forums is $30 (up to and including 27 August). After this date, the fee increases to $40.

The special interest forums comprise:

1. Biotechnology:
a) Routes to Commercialization
b) Patents in Biotechnology

2. Speed Networking:
Careers in molecular life sciences

3. Enquiry in Life Science Education:
Asking good questions, Finding good answers

4. Super Resolution Microscopy Workshop
Note: Registration is free for all, for the Microscopy workshop but numbers are limited. If you would like to attend this forum, please reply to Fabienne Perani (f.perani@latrobe.edu.au).

A Public Forum will also be held on the evening of Wednesday, 29 September.
