オハイオ州立大PostDoctral Fellow の募集

米国Ohio State Univ. のDr. Oakley教授が、PosDocを募集しています。Oakley氏は、γ-チューブリンの発見者としてつとに有名で、現在もこの分野で活発な研究活動を行っております。日本からの研究者も私を含め数名受け入れた経験が有り、来日経験も豊富な知日家・親日家であります。今回は、NIHのグラントによってサポートされているポストの募集で、日本にポストを持っておられる方の留学先としても良いのでは無いかと考えます。以下にOakley教授からの募集文を掲載します。興味のお有りの方は、Oakley 本人または堀尾まで御連絡下さい。

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Berl Oakley at the Ohio State University to study novel functions of gamma-tubulin using a large collection of gamma-tubulin mutants. The prospective postdoc will study these mutants using genetic, molecular genetic and microscopic approaches. The prospective postdoc is expected to be involved in the study of mitosis and microtubule organization in the mutants using time-lapse,
deconvolution (Intelligent Imaging Innovations Everest system) and spinning-disk confocal microscopy (UltraView system). To apply for the position or for further information please e-mail Dr. Oakley at oakley.2@osu.edu.
